With news of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Jamaica, we know our customers are concerned about their health and safety as they do business. This is why we are working hard to play our part in tackling the threat of the Coronavirus.
First and foremost, our response plan for COVID-19 includes a robust sanitation plan intended to reduce and eliminate the spread of the virus within our environment. We have implemented preventive measures to keep our showrooms, warehouses and stores clean in a bid to maintain a healthy environment. Front of house and back of house are cleaned daily, which includes using sanitizing solutions in high-traffic areas. We have ensured additional cleaning supplies are provided in showrooms for use by staff and have increased focus on the sanitation of work areas constantly throughout the day.
Secondly, our Sales and Service Response teams are equipped with protective gear that are used while on customer location. These gear are for one-time use and are disposed of after each use. Each service vehicle is also equipped with sanitizers and a reminder is placed in each vehicle to ensure adherence to the sanitation protocols now in place across our teams.
Thirdly, our entry points, workstations and cashiers are equipped with hand sanitizers to ensure both staff and customers can readily attend to their personal safety. Staff who handle customer equipment are provided with gloves to protect their person.
We are monitoring the situation daily and continue to observe the reports from the Ministry of Health and Wellness. As part of our efforts to protect our staff and customers, we have asked that all staff refrain from the practice of shaking hands and that those who are not feeling well must remain at home as an extra precaution.
Finally, we want to remind our customers that there are many a number of ways to do business with us including visiting us online at www.atljamaica.com or giving us a call at 888-ATL-SERV. We encourage all our customers and staff to remain safe as we rally together to fight this virus together.
